Carlotta von Tabea is a stunning 4-5 year old black and red German Shepherd. This gorgeous, coated girl has not had an easy life. She came to us with her collar embedded in her neck, but she has healed beautifully and is now a total, plush beauty who has blossomed into a darling, happy girl. Carlotta is calm on a leash and enjoys her walks and exploring the world around her, but she still needs some help with her manners when it comes to meeting other dogs on the leash. That being said, Carlotta listens to corrections way better now and focuses on doing whatever she needs to do to please you. She eats up affection, so she will greatly benefit from an attentive person who can give her loving and pets galore while also helping her build her trust and confidence with positive-based training. Off the leash, Carlotta is a mid-to-high energy girl who is exemplary in her playgroups. She is so excited to meet everyone there and is extremely social and comfortable with the other dogs, both male and female. Carlotta has made wonderful strides while in the care of the rescue; we just know she will continue to thrive in her forever home. She can't wait to amaze you.
